Dearest Uncle William(Neill, service no 429615)grave9e20.
I feel such sadness when I think of your death at so young an age. You died a brave death in the fight for our country. Bless you. Miriam.xxxxx

Thank you so much for placing a tribute to the Lancaster LM751. This year 2014 I viewed this page again and for the first time in my life I didn't have my Dad with me for services. He too was an Air Force Veteran. May God bless and remember all the men and women who fought for this country so that we may be free. Barbara R. Wedderburn - Canada

My wife and I came by the cemetery while traveling on some back roads of Germany. I can't explain the overwhelming feeling of walking among those who were so brave. To see bomber crews buried side by side and to read some of the parents comments was extremely difficult. They gave all for country and for freedom. God bless and hold them in his arms.

I like your website.
The shooting down of my father's Halifax was possibly by Ludwig Meister (09-03-43 TL-Y of 35 Sqdn). He survived and was a POW in Stalag Luft III. I am transposing his diary at the moment. He died in August 2006 at 93.

Best wishes

Thank you so much for doing this website! Howard Bruce Boddy (Navigator for 207 Squadron) is my great-uncle, I have been doing lots of research on him throughout the past year. This was a great find, loved looking at the documents and photos, very cool.
